Vladislav Baumgertner has been on Uralkali’s Board of Directors since June 2011.
Vladislav Baumgertner was born in 1972. He graduated from the Urals Engineering University in 1994, majoring in Electric Power Station management. He earned an MBA degree from Kingston Business School in 2000, and obtained a University of London MSc degree in Financial Management in 2003.
Mr. Baumgertner joined Uralkali in 2003 as Chief Commercial Officer. He was the Company’s CEO in 2005–2010 and its President in 2004–2008. He has been a member of the Uralkali Board of Directors since 2004, and became a member of Belarusian Potash Company’s Supervisory Board in 2005. In 2006, he was elected to Silvinit’s Board of Directors. He was appointed Silvinit’s CEO in 2010. In February 2011 Mr. Baumgertner became Uralkali’s CEO.
