Uralkali regards social investments as key to the successful development of the business. This means that it is just as important for us to comply with international best practice around social policy, as it is to observe industry standards on product quality, business processes and corporate governance. We conduct and support social and charitable projects in a number of different fields, both locally and nationally. In addition, we take a strategic approach to social initiatives with a view to maximising the benefit to all stakeholders.
Our social responsibility initiatives fall into two separate categories:
Uralkali is a keen supporter of all civil and official initiatives that contribute to the improvement of living conditions of the towns where the Company operates. Thanks to the joint efforts of our company, and the city’s citizens and authorities, we have enacted positive change for the benefit of all in the following areas:
Towns![]() Uralkali is the largest employer in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk where its operating facilities are located. The Company, therefore, places high importance on the development of these towns, recreation opportunities for the citizens, their health and safety.
