Vladimir Ruga has been a member of the Board of Directors of Uralkali since 2008. He was born in 1970 and educated at the Lenin Moscow State Pedagogical University, graduating in 1993 with a degree in history.
From 1990 to 1996 Mr Ruga worked for the Novosti news Agency, Moskovskii Komsomolets and Vecherniaya Moskva newspapers serving as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Director Strategic Development from 1996 to 1998.
From 1998 to 2003 Mr Ruga served as Vice President and Head of Public Relations Department of Sibneft Company. From 2003 to March 2010 he served as Vice President Russian Mass Media and Public Relations in TNK-BP.
Member of Independent Directors Association.
