The production of potash fertiliser is a complex engineering process, which requires strict safety standards. All our production processes ensure rigorous compliance with standards covering health, industrial compliance and fire safety.

Workplaces are certified in accordance with international standards to maintain high levels of safety during production.

As our employees are our greatest resource, we make every effort to secure safe and comfortable workplace conditions. We therefore continually review and improve our industrial safety systems, and invest several tens of millions of roubles each year in environmental management programmes. The success of our initiatives is reflected in the fact we have halved our accident rate from 2001 to 2007.

We place great importance on preventative action. This increases occupational safety at those production sites with increased risk and heightens employee compliance with safety requirements. Each year we conduct tens of thousands of inspections and workplace assessments, educate employees on industrial safety rules and standards, and test their knowledge.
