Uralkali wins investor relations progress award
Russia’s first public company in the chemical sector, Uralkali seeks to adhere to leading global corporate governance standards, making it attractive for business development and offering confidence to investors. Our corporate governance principles consider the interests of all groups involved in managing the company and shaping its policy.

By using strong governance principles to protect the interests of different groups, we aim to prevent conflict, thus allowing the company to achieve optimal economic and financial results.

We believe having non-executive directors on the Board of Directors is especially important for effective corporate governance. The shareholder meeting held in June 2010 resolved that four out of nine members of the Board of Directors be non-executive. This allows us to adopt informed decisions benefiting all shareholders, and guarantees the transparency of our governance process.
