Changes in Uralkali Shareholder Structure

Further to its prior announcement of 18 November 2013, Uralkali (LSE: URKA, “the Company”) notes the press release by ONEXIM Group (“Onexim”) earlier today disclosing that ONEXIM has completed the acquisition of a 21.75% stake in Uralkali formerly owned by the Suleyman Kerimov Foundation. 

Further to its prior announcement of 2 December 2013, Uralkali informs that it has received a notification from Open Joint Stock Company United Chemical Company Uralchem (“Uralchem”) that Uralchem has acquired 587,197,433 shares of Uralkali constituting 19.999% of Uralkali share capital bringing Uralchem shareholding in Uralkali to 19.999% (587,202,833 shares). 

Uralkali has also received notifications from a number of shareholders that they have exited the Company’s share capital.

Uralkali (www.uralkali.com/) is one of the world’s largest potash producers with a share of about 20% of global potash production. The Company’s assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm Region, Russia).
