Uralkali takes part in Open Day at BB PNRPU

An Open Day with the slogan The Future Starts Today was held on 4 February at the Berezniki Branch of Perm National Research Polytechnic University (BB PNRPU). This traditional event for graduating students featured an interactive quiz presented by Uralkali. The students learned about the occupations required by Uralkali and had the opportunity to try on miner and machine operator work clothes. All students received sylvinite rocks as a souvenir.

Natalia Volvach, Head of Personnel Recruitment and Development Department of Uralkali, commented:

Uralkali seeks to attract the most qualified and competent young professionals. Vocational guidance is offered in the secondary schools and secondary vocational educational institutions of Berezniki and Solikamsk. Uralkali collaborates closely with Perm National Research Polytechnic University and its Berezniki Branch. Every year, many graduates of the university are hired by Uralkali Group.

In collaboration with BB PNRPU, Uralkali provides support to teachers at specialised university departments, gives financial support to the university and equips its teaching and research laboratories. In 2016, the Company allocated more than RUB 10 million for these purposes. Since 2007, Uralkali has given scholarships twice a year to the best students according to semester results.
