Uralkali donated ultrasound devices to health facilities of Berezniki and Solikamsk

Uralkali purchased and donated ultrasound devices to health facilities of Berezniki and Solikamsk. New ultrasound diagnostic systems have been installed at the emergency cardiology department of E.A. Vagner City Hospital No. 1 in Berezniki and the perinatal centre in Solikamsk.

This medical equipment is characterised by high visualisation quality, increased amount of information available for analysis, higher operation speed. The new devices will help diagnose at an early stage, improve the quality of patient diagnostics and significantly enhance the effectiveness of treatment.

The overall medical equipment cost is about RUB 13 million.

Uralkali promotes the social and economic development of the cities where it operates, striving to improve the level and quality of life of the population. As part of its policy of social responsibility, Uralkali has responded to the requests of the heads of health facilities in Berezniki and Solikamsk for the purchase of new medical equipment to replace the obsolete one. We are confident that the new ultrasound systems will improve the quality of medical services provided to the residents of Verkhnekamie.

In 2017, Uralkali provided financial assistance in the amount of RUB 2.5 million to purchase an electrosurgical and ultrasound generator GEN11 for E.A. Vagner City Hospital No. 1 in Berezniki.

In 2016, the Company helped repair passages in the territory of E.A. Vagner City Hospital No. 1 in Berezniki and purchased furniture for the City Childrens Hospital in Solikamsk.

In 2013, Uralkali donated a speleotherapy room to the Central District Hospital of the Solikamsk district.

In 2012, Uralkali financed the renovation of the Childrens City Hospital in Berezniki.

In 2010, in the Usolsky residential district, Uralkali built and donated a modern polyclinic complex to the city, which included departments for adults and children, an ambulance station, and a day patient department.

In addition, with the support of the Company, the gynaecology department of a maternity hospital in Berezniki was repaired.
