Changes in Uralkali Shareholder Ownership Structure

OJSC "Uralkali" (the "Company") has been informed by STEROSOL HOLDINGS LTD, a company beneficially owned by Mr. Alexander Nesis, that STEROSOL has decreased its ownership in the Company from 3.878% to 0.549%*.

The Company has been informed also that the changes in the shareholder ownership are due to reorganisation of the ownership structure of Mr Nesis’s assets and Mr. Nesis’s total shareholding in Uralkali has not been changed (12.15% of the authorised capital including newly issued shares).

*The percentage of the previous and current ownership of STEROSOL HOLDINGS LTD in the authorised capital of Uralkali is given as of the period after the conversion of Silvinit shares into Uralkali ordinary shares.
