JSC Uralkali: admission to trading of GDRs on the London Stock Exchange

Further to its announcement on 16 June 2011, JSC Uralkali ("Uralkali") is pleased to announce the new admission of up to 618,927,581 global depositary receipts ("GDRs"), with one GDR representing an interest in five ordinary shares of Uralkali, to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities following completion of the combination of Uralkali and OJSC Silvinit (the "Combination"). This new listing replaces the pre-Combination listing of up to 424,878,000 GDRs. The GDRs retain the ticker "URKA" and the same ISIN codes. Shares of Uralkali issued under the terms of the Combination may now be deposited into the GDR programme in accordance with its standard terms.

As at today’s date, 477,806,545 shares of Uralkali have been deposited into the GDR program, and, in accordance with Uralkali’s existing permission from the Federal Service for Financial Markets of the Russian Federation ("FSFM") for the circulation of up to 616,073,100 of its shares overseas under a sponsored depositary receipt program, up to an additional 138,266,555 shares may be deposited into the programme. Following the admission of Uralkali’s ordinary shares to the A List of MICEX on 3 June 2011, Uralkali is considering seeking FSFM approval to increase its permission to a total of 773,659,476 shares, representing 25% of its post-Combination share capital.
