The company Uralkali celebrated one of its major professional holidays, the Chemist’s Day.

On May 24 there was a gala evening in the style of the TV program “Dostoyanie REspubliki” in honor of the holiday for the best workers of the surface complex of Berezniki and Solikamsk.

Production director Boris Serebrennikov and deputy chief engineer for enrichment processes Svetlana Aliferova congratulated technologists on professional holiday.

In his congratulatory speech Boris Serebrennikov noted high professionalism and involvement of the technologists’ team who can complete even the most complex and ambitious tasks. Svetlana Aliferova wished the audience joy and peer recognition at work and inspiration and desire to win each day.

For their great personal contribution to the development of the chemical industry the following persons received the title “Honorable Chemist”: Evgeny Molchanov, head of research and product quality control, and Naila Bogdanova, equipment operator of the Mine Group Berezniki-4 factory. Twelve workers of the potash industry received acknowledgements from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Thirteen employees of Uralkali were honored with the title of “Honorable potash industry worker”.

The highlight of the evening was greeting “Musical Surprise” from the heads of eight processing plants. All their greetings were accompanied by a fragment from a popular song. Vocalists and Lunegov circus show from Perm created a great mood for the guests of the gala evening. The final celebratory gift was a concert by the popular singer and composer Alexey Chumakov.

Smoking in mines is prohibited.
Work at heights without wearing a safety harness is prohibited.
Work in electrical installations under voltage is prohibited.
It is forbidden to perform work and stay in the bottomhole zone during the operation of the mining machine.
Loading and unloading operations when people are in the danger zone are prohibited.
Working in underground mines with unsecured and/or unassembled roofing is prohibited.
It is forbidden to carry out repairs and maintenance of conveyors without disconnecting from energy sources, use of conveyors for transfer of people and goods (materials and/or equipment), crossing (either above or under) operating conveyors by employees are not allowed.
It is forbidden to carry out welding and flame work in underground mines and mine buildings without the necessary safety measures preventing fire.
