The results of the contest “Verhnekamsk Potash 2012” have been announced

Uralkali presented awards to the winners of the contest of research papers “Verhnekamsk Potash 2012”. The award was established by the company in 2006 for graduates of Berezniki branch of Perm National Research Polytechnic University and is awarded to authors of the best graduation projects of practical importance for the production of potash fertilizer.

This year the papers of Marina Leonteva, Aleksey Gaifutdinov, Anatoly Remizov and Mikhail Gubanov were recognized as the best. The subject of their papers was optimization of production.

Aleksey Gaifutdinov, foreman of the mine Berezniki-4:

It's nice that my paper has been noticed. I choose the subject “Reducing losses of the mineral product with a mining method using hydraulic filling in the first Southwest sublevel of the mine field BKRU-4” not coincidentally, since a lot of reserves are left in the subsurface. My work is for the future; following the introduction of hydraulic filling in the mine, I hope, the theory will be proven in practice.

The awarding ceremony took place on the day of presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Polytechnic University. The winners were congratulated by the Director of the BB PNRPU Oleg Kosvintsev and the staff of Uralkali who wished the graduates successful careers. Head of the Mining Department of OJSC Uralkali Andrey Kharintsev, a former graduate of the Polytechnic University, shared his experiences with the youth and invited the graduates to try their hand at work.

Andrey Kharintsev, head of the Mining Department:

Our company can be a good start for your professional career. Uralkali is the leader of the world potash market, an ambitious, modern, dynamic and reliable company that provides its employees with all the opportunities for professional growth, career development and self-realization.
