Best PNRPU students have received Uralkali scholarships

Uralkali has awarded individual scholarship certificates to ten best students of Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU). The solemn ceremony of awarding certificates coincided with the closing of the All-Russian student competition.

The scholars are students of the Mining and Oil and Chemical Engineering Faculties. Two students will receive a scholarship for the first time, the rest will get it for the second and third time.

Elena Zvereva, 6th year student :

I’ve got the scholarship for the third time. I've been doing research work for a few years and participate in national and international training and research-and-technology conferences. I already have publications in a scientific journal. I did practical work in Uralkali mine. We explored the mine together with the fire-boss and performed air measurements at the facilities – in blocks and panels. Practical experience has facilitated my studies and research.

On behalf of the Company the students were congratulated by a representative of Recruitment and Staff Evaluation Department Olga Rykova.

Olga Rykova, Head of Recruitment and Staff Evaluation Department of OJSC Uralkali:

If you are ambitious, responsible and result-oriented, you have a future in Uralkali. Here you can develop and realize your potential

Many PNRPU students come to work to Uralkali after graduation. In PNRPU there is a structural unit called Institute of potassium. It trains unique specialists in the development of potassium deposits and manufacture of products with potassium content.

Vladimir Asanov, director of the Institute of potassium:

Technologists, mechanics , electricians are mining specialists. Eighty percent of Uralkali engineering and technical staff are our graduates.
