Uralkali Corporate Olympics start

About 2,000 athletes in 13 teams will take part in the 2017 Uralkali Corporate Olympics, representing various divisions of Uralkali and its subsidiaries.

Competitions will be held in the following sports: swimming, darts, shooting, skiing, volleyball, futsal, indoor athletics, table tennis, indoor soccer, cross-country running and basketball.

At the end of the year, all winning teams will be awarded certificates and prizes.

Uralkali’s employees can also participate in the Swimming for Health and Skiing for Health events. The Company’s employees benefit from free ski rental at the “Snezhinka” ski resort in Berezniki and at “Kaliets” in Solikamsk. During the Swimming for Health campaign, all employees receive a 50% discount on visits to the “Titan” and “Kristal” swimming pools in Berezniki and “Delfin” in Solikamsk.

Smoking in mines is prohibited.
Work at heights without wearing a safety harness is prohibited.
Work in electrical installations under voltage is prohibited.
It is forbidden to perform work and stay in the bottomhole zone during the operation of the mining machine.
Loading and unloading operations when people are in the danger zone are prohibited.
Working in underground mines with unsecured and/or unassembled roofing is prohibited.
It is forbidden to carry out repairs and maintenance of conveyors without disconnecting from energy sources, use of conveyors for transfer of people and goods (materials and/or equipment), crossing (either above or under) operating conveyors by employees are not allowed.
It is forbidden to carry out welding and flame work in underground mines and mine buildings without the necessary safety measures preventing fire.
