Uralchem and Uralkali are among the partners of SPIEF-2018


JSC URALCHEM and PJSC Uralkali (the Company, Moscow Exchange: URKA), the worlds leading producers of mineral fertilisers, are among the partners of 22nd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2018), taking place in St. Petersburg from 24 to 26 May, 2018.

The companies will present a joint exhibition booth, where the participants and guests of the event will be able to learn about the latest developments and achievements in the production of mineral fertilisers and other products  various modifications of urea, high-efficiency derivatives of ammonium nitrates and the Aqua Drop range of fertigation products.

During the Economic Forum, the companies senior management will take part in panel sessions and will sign a number of memorandums and agreements in different areas with partners and suppliers of both the companies. In this context, URALCHEM will sign an agreement on the cooperation with RZhD Logistika, the Russian Chemists Union and the 1C company.

The joint delegation is headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of URALCHEM and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uralkali Dmitry Mazepin. Dmitry Konyaev, URALCHEM CEO, and Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO, will also take part in the Forum.


Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is a unique event in the world of economics and business. During the last decade, the Forum became the leading global communication site for businesses and for the discussion of key economic issues faced by Russia, developing markets and the world in general. More than 10,000 people from Russia and abroad visit the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum each year. Amongst them, there are heads of states and governments of developing countries, top managers of the largest companies and leading experts in science, mass media and societal issues. SPIEF was established in 1997. Since 2006, SPIEF has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation.

JSC URALCHEM is one of the largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate fertilisers in Russia and the CIS with production capacities of over 3 million tons of ammonia, 3 million tons of ammonium nitrate and its derivatives, 1.2 million tons of urea and 1 million tons of phosphate and complex fertilizers and a year. JSC URALCHEM is the largest ammonium nitrate producer and the second largest producer of ammonia in Russia. Key production assets of JSC URALCHEM include Azot Branch of JSC URALCHEM in Berezniki, Perm Region; JSC Mineral Fertilizers, Perm; KCKK branch of JSC URALCHEM in Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov region; JSC Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers in Voskresensk, Moscow region.

Uralkali (www.uralkali.com) is one of the worlds largest potash producers and exporters. The Companys assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm Territory, Russia). Uralkali employs ca.11,000 people (in the main production unit). Uralkalis shares are traded on the Moscow Exchange.
