Uralkali became the main sponsor of the Russian Kickboxing Championship

The Russian Kickboxing Championship took place from the 15th to the 19th of May in Solikamsk. More than 400 athletes from 43 regions participated in the competition. The event was organised by the Kickboxing Federation of Russia, the Regional Federation of Kickboxing, the Solikamsk Federation of Kickboxing and Boxing, as well as the Committee for Physical Culture and Sport of the Solikamsk Administration. Uralkali was the main sponsor for the championship.

The athletes were greeted at the opening ceremony by the Mayor of Solikamsk, Sergei Devyatkov, the Head of the Solikamsky district, Oleg Polyakov, the President of the Solikamsk Federation of Kickboxing and Boxing, Vladimir Maksimovich, as well as deputy Vladimir Yakutov representing Uralkali. Executive Director of the Kickboxing Federation of Russia, Konstantin Chernov, thanked the organisers of the competition.

In total 290 fights were held, 8 of which resulted in knockouts. The teams from Moscow, Perm Region and Dagestan achieved the best results and won the largest number of prizes. The Moscow team finished ahead of the other teams in terms of the number of gold medals won. The teams from Perm Region and Dagestan shared second place — winning an equal number of gold medals.

In the individual contests, Solikamsk athletes Dmitriy Radov and Yuliya Kuznetsova took first place in the adult category, whilst Alexandra Koroleva and Max Shikhov won among the juniors. Konstantin Martynov and Daria Makarova earned bronze medals among the adults, Ilya Korolev, Eduard Orlov and Pavel Kopylov — among the juniors.

Smoking in mines is prohibited.
Work at heights without wearing a safety harness is prohibited.
Work in electrical installations under voltage is prohibited.
It is forbidden to perform work and stay in the bottomhole zone during the operation of the mining machine.
Loading and unloading operations when people are in the danger zone are prohibited.
Working in underground mines with unsecured and/or unassembled roofing is prohibited.
It is forbidden to carry out repairs and maintenance of conveyors without disconnecting from energy sources, use of conveyors for transfer of people and goods (materials and/or equipment), crossing (either above or under) operating conveyors by employees are not allowed.
It is forbidden to carry out welding and flame work in underground mines and mine buildings without the necessary safety measures preventing fire.
