Uralkali, one of the world’s largest potash producers, announces that one of its products, a fodder supplement based on potassium chloride, has been awarded a gold medal and diploma at Golden Autumn 2020 – the 22nd Russian Agricultural and Industrial Expo. Uralkali’s supplement took the gold medal in the “Production of high-grade fodders and fodder supplements” nomination. The competition is held every year to celebrate the significant achievements of companies and research organisations in the development, production and sales of fodder and fodder supplements for commercial livestock.

The award-winning product is a new fodder supplement used to produce premixtures and mixed feed for broiler chickens and laying hens, and is designed to make up for potassium deficiencies in their diets.

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO, commented:

The prestigious award received by our brand new potassium-based product, which was specifically developed to compensate for potassium deficiencies in domestic fowl nutrition, is further confirmation of the excellent quality of Uralkali’s products available to the Russian market.
