Uralkali (the Company; MICEX: URKA) announces that pursuant to the Companyís open market buyback programme announced on 18 May 2016, from 29 August through 07 September 2016 35,906,140 Companyís shares and 110,000 GDRs were acquired.

Since the start of the Companyís open market buyback programme, an aggregate of 66,317,447 shares and 1,215,191 GDRs constituting 2.47% of the Companyís share capital have been purchased.

As of 07 September 2016 Uralkaliís free float (including shares represented by GDRs) constitutes about 6.5% of the Companyís share capital.

This listing level downgrade may have a material adverse effect on the trading price and liquidity of the Companyís common shares.

The Companyís assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm Territory, Russia).
