Uralkali AGM Decisions


On 20 June 2017, Uralkali (MICEX: URKA; the Company), one of the worlds largest potash producers, held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) of shareholders in the town of Berezniki (Perm Territory, Russia).

Uralkalis AGM elected the new Board of Directors, including Sergey Chemezov, Dmitry Lobyak, Dmitry Konyaev, Luc Maene, Sir Robert Margetts, Dmitry Mazepin, Dmitry Osipov, Paul Ostling, and Dimitry Tatyanin.

Uralkalis shareholders decided not to pay dividends for 2016.

The AGM approved ZAO Deloitte & Touche CIS as auditor of the Companys 2017 consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and AO Energy Consulting as auditor of the Companys financial statements prepared in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards.

The AGM also elected the Revision Commission, approved a number of related party transactions, and a major transaction (a series of interrelated transactions).

The Companys assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm Territory, Russia). Uralkali employs ca.11,000 people (in the main production unit). Uralkalis shares are traded on the Moscow Exchange.
