The company Uralkali summed up the results of the professional skills contest among workers of technological factories.

Professional skills contest dedicated to the Chemists’ Day is held in the united company for the third time in order to increase the prestige of equipment operators in the company.

The competition was attended by technicians of seven processing plants of the Company. The evaluation was performed by the contest committee headed by Svetlana Aliferova, deputy chief enrichment process engineer, as well as experts, experienced representatives of other mine groups.

During the practical phase the contestants showed in their workplace to the committee major technical operations in their profession with commentary and compliance with Cardinal labor safety rules. The contestants also answered the test questions on production techniques, equipment design and control of technological process parameters.

The second, creative part of the contest took place in the cultural and business center in Berezniki and was dedicated to Cardinal labor safety rules. Each team in a variety of genres showed from the stage why all employees of the company must comply with the rules. The best team in the contest was team sylvinite ore-processing plant team from the mine group Solikamsk-2.

Emotions? Plenty!” shared her impressions after the contest the winner Lyubov Klestova. “I have proven first of all to myself that I can work masterfully and professionally.”

The contest was attended not only by experienced professionals, but also by the young, for whom the contest is a starting point for their further development and career growth.

Smoking in mines is prohibited.
Work at heights without wearing a safety harness is prohibited.
Work in electrical installations under voltage is prohibited.
It is forbidden to perform work and stay in the bottomhole zone during the operation of the mining machine.
Loading and unloading operations when people are in the danger zone are prohibited.
Working in underground mines with unsecured and/or unassembled roofing is prohibited.
It is forbidden to carry out repairs and maintenance of conveyors without disconnecting from energy sources, use of conveyors for transfer of people and goods (materials and/or equipment), crossing (either above or under) operating conveyors by employees are not allowed.
It is forbidden to carry out welding and flame work in underground mines and mine buildings without the necessary safety measures preventing fire.
