Annual Uralkali Corporate Olympics Start

Annual Uralkali Corporate Olympics started last weekend.

14 teams will compete for the title of the best sports team in the new season, among them the winners of the last Olympics, Berezniki-2 and Solikamsk-3 teams.

"Let's Light Our Star" – just under this motto the Olympics of Group Uralkali in Solikamsk House of Sports "Kaliets" have been opened. Andrey Shpilevoy, chief engineer of Solikamsk-3 has addressed to the athletes with welcome words:

Support and development of sports movement and promoting a healthy lifestyle among employees is one of the priorities of our company’s social policy. Group Uralkali employees love sports; sportsmen and athletes are valued here. Everyone understands that health, cheerfulness and active lifestyle are the key to high efficiency, to effective and successful work.

I am pleased to participate in corporate Olympics! - Yulia Shurakova, a candidate master of sports and a mills operator of Berezniki-2 Plant has said. - Olympics teach to work in a team, to conquer new peaks both in work and life.

The official part of the event being over the teams excitedly participated in "Fun Sports". A tea party and a concert of artistic groups in the corporate Culture and Leisure Center have concluded the whole event.

Like in previous season, the Olympics will be held in two locations - in Berezniki and Solikamsk. The teams who took the first and second places in team sports, as well as winners in their age groups in individual sports by territories will compete for the title of the best athletes in Super Finals.

Uralkali employees will be able to support their friends and colleagues in September: competitions for the first two of eleven Olympics sports (indoor soccer and cross-country race) will be held this month.
