Uralkali initiates the construction of a kindergarten in Berezniki.

264 young residents of Berezniki will soon be the first pupils of a new kindergarten, which will be built upon the project of Uralkali on the street 30 Let Pobedy.

The new kindergarten will be the only three-story building among all preschool institutions in town. In the kindergarten there will be 12 groups for children aged 3 to 7 years.

The kindergarten project, developed through the request of Uralkali, is unique to the town of Berezniki. The kids will be able to use a swimming pool; the preschool facilities will be equipped with a winter garden, music and sports halls, a computer class. The leisure venues will accommodate modern playing facilities. To ensure the safety of young residents of Berezniki and tranquillity of their parents the kindergarten will be equipped with a video surveillance system.

The company estimates that investment in the construction of the kindergarten in Berezniki will amount to about 264 million rubles. After a two-stage competitive selection process there are four companies which apply for the project. The final selection of a general contractor will be based on the results of the contest of design projects.

The construction of the kindergarten should be completed in two years. The pre-school institution should be commissioned turnkey – the groups will be equipped with all the necessary equipment and furniture.

Lack of places in kindergartens is a common Russian problem. In the Perm region under the patronage of the Governor a program is being implemented to eliminate queues in kindergartens. However, it is probably unlikely to completely eliminate the problem, which has not been solved for years by local financing, in a short time. It is no accident that the company Uralkali has initiated the construction of a kindergarten for the children of the Group employees. On the one hand, we will help the town to reduce queues in preschool facilities. On the other hand, the children will get a quality education in a new kindergarten that is an important component of the social pact for the employees of Uralkali Group of Companies. But the most important thing is that the implementation of this project will be beneficial to the children who will grow up, develop and get ready for school in a modern, cosy and comfortable kindergarten.
