The conference brought together experts in the field of agriculture from Australia, the U.S., Germany, France, Argentina, Brazil and China, as well as around 150 representatives of the domestic agricultural sector. The participants of the conference discussed current issues of world agricultural markets and management in agribusiness.

Dmitry Rylko, General Director of IAMS;
Aram Ghukasyan, Deputy General Director of OJSC United Grain Company;
Stefan Duerr, General Director of the MC EkoNiva-APK Holding,
and others.

The use of the so-called no-till technology in the cultivation of soils caused lively discussion. It is widely used in the United States, Latin America and other countries. Kelvin Leibold, specialist of the implementation service of the Iowa State University (USA), and Ashley Herbert, an agricultural consultant (Australia), presented the results of using the no-till technology for corn and wheat. They summarized many years of experience in the territories of the Corn Belt in the U.S. and the Wheat Belt in Australia. Alexander Belov, Member of the Board of Directors of the Group of Companies Regional Investment Fund shared the experience of soil cultivation with the no-till method in the fields of the Stavropol Territory. In their reports the experts paid special attention to the fact that to achieve good results and preserve the soil fertility using the no-till technology the requirements to the application of mineral fertilizers should be much stricter; the dosage, methods and time of application should be carefully considered by professional agronomists.
