During the plenary session, Dmitry Osipov spoke on digitization and its prospects for the sector as well as the implementation of new cutting-edge solutions and systems to increase production efficiency.

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO, commented:

Digitization is one of the most promising and key development areas for Uralkali. With its high potential in mind, we are currently implementing several new technological solutions at the Company’s operations. A ‘digital twin’ system of the mine coupled with a specialized communication system will enable to optimize repairs and better manage our facilities and resources. Modern monitoring systems help us efficiently obtain mining and geologic data which, in turn contributes to improved safety of our mining operations.
